How much is the fee to visit the Komodo National Park?
The current entrance fee is Rp. 200,000 for locals and Rp. 500,000 for foreigners. On boat trips which are including a local bank holiday the entrance fee is higher. The fee must be paid in cash at the beginning of the trip to your tour guide on the boat.
At what time will the 3 days/2 nights open boat trip start? And when I will be back in Labuan Bajo?
The Phinisi Boats will leave at around 11am in Labuan Bajo every Monday and Friday. We will pick you up at your hotel or airport. You will be back on your last day latest at 1pm. Please take this into account when you are booking your flights. If your return flight departs nevertheless before that time, we can organize an earlier return to the harbor for an extra fee for you.
Can I also join a boat trip as a solo traveller?
For sure you can join our open boat trips. Some of the boats offer cabins with bunk beds, so that you can share the room with other solo travellers. Thus you have a budget-friendly way to discover Komodo National Park without having to book an entire cabin for solo use if you would like to stay overnight. The speedboat trips are anyway a good option, if you have limited time and you are a solo traveller. Also check out our open trips to the magical village Wae Rebo.
